E' con grande piacere che è annunciata oggi la terza edizione del Premio Oltrecosmo per la narrativa breve fantascientifica, concorso letterario unico nel suo genere per le caratteristiche di libertà e trasparenza che ne stanno alla base.

L'idea di organizzare un Premio letterario ex novo nasce nell'aprile 2005. its second edition, and thanks to the contributions being Mark Breakdown organization, Giampietro Stocco and Gianluca Turcotte, the Award makes a true "quantum leap" in the jury reaching record names like Ernesto Vegetti, Fabriani Lanfranco, Claudio Ascii and Domenico Gallo, only name a few. Also working with the OpenOffice.org project PLIO of , with whom he collaborates in the dissemination of the prize open formats ODF [Open Document Format], and in particular the text format ODT. Despite the limit of short stories by author brought to one (compared to three of the previous edition), the stories are participating in the second edition for 133, an increase in the number of participants by 58%. The awards, held in Genoa, saw the award of prizes to the winners-plates, although participation was made entirely free, thanks to the generous sponsorship of companies like Made4Web Yacme and, in addition to the same PLIO.

The third edition was opened today at midnight. As usual, the participation is free, the limit of short stories by author is set to one, the maximum length of 22,000 characters including spaces, the preferred format for sending the ODT. The most important change to stand out in the contract is the birth of a forum where the stories will be published: This edition, In fact, all the stories in the race will be read and commented on by users.
