practical things : voting is open to all those who use the Internet without restrictions and without registering. The vote took place only once. This blog exists to bring about this project, even those not on Facebook.
Why would I vote that my project : Personally I do not win anything, it's just a recognition for their work, away from routes of journalism and free for a year and half. What do I do it for the guys with the heart, and the city: using the job I can do (if another world is possible, another way yes).
There are 800 000 invisible Akmed : Akmed is not the only boy who arrives on foot to Rome, to escape the death and war: in Italy the police will register 800 thousand a year, but may pass at least double. Some die on the journey, others continue their journey to Europe. Some end up in the market for child prostitution, broken down by ethnicity. Others still who knows where. Eight hundred thousand children a year are more than just a number, are the consequences of war and misery.
Info & Connect to Internet users : is the first time which in Italy is thought journalism awards, written and published using a social network (also competes in the race a Twitter, while the other nine candidate projects are sites and blogs, in their more 'traditional'). The City of Asterix is the first project of journalistic storytelling on Facebook, and we have already processed in an ebook, a short film and hopefully soon in a cartoon: This multi-media has little wave for me taste for innovation. For this reason I chose the Creative Commons licenses, which share the philosophy.
